Based in Pune, India, and serving as an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Dr. Panchal has dedicated more than two decades to shaping not only students — but communities, families, and future generations.
His journey reflects a belief that true education is not measured only by academic scores, but by the ability to transform lives through purpose, discipline, and values.

Education beyond the classroom
Over the years, Dr. Panchal has personally guided more than 70,000 students across schools, junior colleges, and senior colleges throughout Maharashtra and other parts of India.
His educational philosophy, centered around the concept of “scientific learning,” encourages students to approach life with structure, critical thinking, self-discipline, and long-term vision.
For Dr. Panchal, teaching has never been limited to the classroom. His mission extends into communities, rural development initiatives, sustainability awareness, and social education programs designed to create responsible citizens alongside successful professionals.
Through seminars, workshops, and personal mentorship, he has also guided thousands of parents on how they can actively support the growth and future success of their children.
Zero Food Waste movement
One of the defining initiatives in Dr. Panchal’s journey is the “Zero Food Waste” campaign officially introduced during major college gatherings in Pune.
The initiative encouraged students and institutions to reduce unnecessary food waste while promoting responsible consumption and awareness around global hunger challenges.
The results were both practical and symbolic. During institutional events involving thousands of participants, measurable reductions in food waste were observed, reinforcing the importance of mindfulness, discipline, and sustainability within educational environments.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 2 — Zero Hunger — the initiative became one of the strongest examples of how education and sustainability can work together to create real impact.

Research, innovation, and rural development
Beyond education and sustainability, Dr. Panchal has also contributed to rural innovation and farmer awareness programs.
His work includes promoting low-cost solar vegetable and fruit drying solutions for Indian farmers using bamboo-based systems, as well as advocating for natural farming methods and reduced dependence on harmful chemical farming.
His research-driven approach reflects his background as both an educator and innovator. Throughout his career, he has published numerous research papers, worked on patents, and participated in internationally recognized innovation competitions.
But despite receiving national and international recognition across multiple platforms, Dr. Panchal continues to position service above status.
