Abu Dhabi Takes US$56 Billion-Plus Infrastructure Opportunity to Investors in Munich
A government and private-sector delegation will use EXPO REAL to connect Abu Dhabi's project pipeline with international investors, financiers, developers and technology providers.

ABU DHABI, 2 October 2026 — Abu Dhabi will take an infrastructure opportunity valued at more than US$56 billion to an international investor audience in Munich next week as the emirate seeks capital, engineering expertise and technology partnerships for its next phase of development.
The Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre will lead the ADIS International Roadshow 2026 at EXPO REAL from 5 to 7 October. The event is one of Europe’s major platforms for real estate, infrastructure and investment.
The Abu Dhabi delegation will include representatives from the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and Abu Dhabi Investment Office, alongside companies including Aldar, Bloom Holding, LEAD Development, Modon and Trojan Construction.
According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office, the delegation will present live projects and development priorities across housing, transport, culture, education and social infrastructure. It will engage investors, financiers, developers, contractors and technology companies from international markets.
The roadshow is designed to connect Abu Dhabi’s capital-project pipeline with private-sector capabilities in areas including advanced engineering, construction technologies, building materials, modular construction and long-term asset performance.
Technology will form another component of the programme. The delegation is seeking solutions involving artificial intelligence, data-led project delivery, digital twins, industrialised construction and smart infrastructure that could improve the planning, execution and operation of major projects.
Abu Dhabi has increasingly used structured public-private partnerships and international investment outreach as part of its infrastructure strategy. Earlier in 2026, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and ADPIC announced an AED55 billion PPP pipeline comprising 24 projects expected to come to market during 2026 and 2027.
The Munich roadshow follows the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit 2026, which the government said attracted more than 17,500 participants, 650 government officials and VIPs, and more than 100 speakers. Previous international roadshows have also been held in Singapore, Shanghai and Türkiye.
For international businesses, the US$56 billion-plus figure provides an indication of the scale of the wider opportunity being presented, but participation will depend on individual project structures, procurement processes, eligibility requirements and commercial terms.
The roadshow also follows the UAE President’s state visit to Germany in September, during which opportunities to deepen economic and development cooperation were discussed.
Abu Dhabi’s approach reflects a wider shift in large-scale infrastructure delivery toward partnerships combining government planning with international capital and specialist private-sector expertise. The next test will be how roadshow discussions translate into project participation, investment commitments, procurement activity and completed agreements.
Why It Matters
The roadshow gives investors and infrastructure companies a direct view into a large Abu Dhabi project pipeline and highlights the emirate's increasing use of international partnerships and private capital for development.
